Welcome! The eForminfo site is a multilingual source of contextualised activities covering ICT and Multimedia topics. Its aim is to allow people to evaluate competence in these academic subjects through completing the kind of activities that they may meet in the workplace.
The site was designed and developed as a part-funded European Socrates Minerva programme with project partners from France, Poland, Romania, Spain and the United Kingdom. Between them, the partners brought a range of experience and of interests to the problems of formal assessment using competence-based approaches.
These contextualised activities permit the assessment and validation of specific competences gained either from prior experience (work, study, informal or casual learning), or from an educational course that is still being undertaken. The library is set up so it can be used in both traditional face-to-face education and in open and distance learning programmes.
This home site of the eForminfo project contains only the catalogues of the activities and some examples. The catalogues use standard meta-data and entries are shown in the language(s) in which the relevant activities are available.
The activities themselves and the access to related validation are to be found on the learning platforms of the relevant partners. Each catalogue entry therefore includes a link to the platform of the partner who manages that particular evaluation activity or set of activities.
